About

This website is a labour of love which is inspired by and draws upon an on-going international research project which digs into the 45-year history of The Exorcist. It’s an ongoing effort and a bit of a new project, this website, so not everything is here yet. The blog is active, but the archives aren’t up yet. They’ll be coming soon, however, and will be filled with all sorts of Exorcisty goodness.

I'm a PhD researcher from a small town in Wales. Being born in '83, I didn't get to experience The Exorcist until the late '90s. I absolutely bloody love the film and hope to bring out some of its amazing history.

A HOME IN THE NORTH EAST OF ENGLAND

The PhD research is funded by Northumbria University in Newcastle, UK. It’s supervised by Dr Sarah Ralph and Dr Johnny Walker. Somewhere along the way, all of this work will be turned into a doctoral thesis which is due at the end of 2019.
